Valerie Fan

B.S. Public Health, Concentration in Medicinal Science, 2026

Valerie joined CNC as a research intern in her second year at UCSD. Aspired to attend medical school, Valerie joined CNC in hopes to gain more experience in medical research and to explore her passion for neuroscience. Within her free time, she likes working out at RIMAC, hanging out with friends and exploring San Diego.

Ivy Han

B.S. Clinical Psychology, 2026

By joining the CNC, I hope to obtain practical, hands-on experience in the laboratory and research setting and gain a deep understanding of neurological movement disorders while using various technologies during clinical examinations. During my free time, I enjoy drawing in sketchbooks and hanging out with friends.

Zoe (Myungjoo) Kim

B.S. Bioinformatics, 2025

Zoe joined CNC team her third year at UCSD. As a potential medical field contributor, Zoe willing to utilize the gained experience and acquired skills at CNC lab to achieve both clinical and computational aspects for healthcare, along with her interest in bioinformatics here. She spends her free time by dancing, working out, or spending time with her friends and family.

Minnie Luu

B.S. Human biology, 2022

Minnie joined the CNC team her third year at UCSD. An aspiring physician and an advocate for accessible healthcare, Minnie hopes to utilize her experience at CNC to gain insight on how clinical and technological advancements are both essential components in improving patient care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the city, and trying new foods. 

Ingyun (Justin) Park 

B.S. Neurobiology, Global Health minor, 2022

Justin joined as a third year neurobiology major with a strong passion for neuroscience. Before joining CNC, he had experience conducting research in a cancer biology lab. Justin hopes to go more in depth with studying neurological disorders such as cervical dystonia and blepharospasm. His goal is to build a strong neurological research foundation in preparation for a career in medicine. During his free time, he likes to go to the beach, go bowling, and hang out with friends.

Raphael Pamintuan

B.S. Cognitive Science, Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, 2026

Raphael joined the CNC team entering his second year at UCSD as a Cognitive Science major. In his down time, Raphael can be found playing basketball, bowling, or hanging out with friends. He looks forward to contributing to the CNC and is excited to learn more about neurological disorders and the use of computer vision and machine learning techniques.
